TS Government make arrangements for PV’s 96th birthday

India’s former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao was well known for his multi-lingual talent and good statesmanship during the congress rule. He served as the ninth Prime Minister from 21 June 1991 – 16 May 1996. He is often referred to as the “Father of Indian Economic Reforms”. His LPG policy helped India to become a FDI nation now. Remembering him on his 96th birthday, Telangana state government has arranged several programs to honor him. The programs include a floral tribute, prayers by all the religious groups, health camp, blood camp, photo exhibition and food to the poor.
TS Chief Minister KCR has instructed the officials to take care of all the programs designed and while speaking he said that Narasimha Rao who hails from Telangana region rose from a state leader to Prime Minister of world’s largest democratic nation. He said when the country was in a financial emergency, Narsimha Rao came up with policy of LPG to bring back the financial stability in the nation.
