PM Modi: India has registered its name in space superpower

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said India has registered its name today in the space superpower. In a televised address to the nation, PM Modi said, it is an unparalled achievement.

Saying India has entered its name as an elite space power, an anti-satellite weapon A-SAT, successfully targeted a live satellite on a low earth orbit. He said so far, Russia, America and China had this status and now India has also achieved this achievement as the fourth nation to strike a live satellite and the Mission was completed within just three minutes.

Prime Minister said an extremely difficult operation that needed high quality technical capability, all the goals and objectives have been achieved by the scientists.

Congratulating all DRDO scientists for achieving this unparallel feat, PM Modi termed Mission Shakti as a huge success. He said, today’s Mission Shakti aimed at strengthening India’s overall security.
