General Election 2019: BJP releases first list of 184 LS candidates

The BJP has released the first list of 184 candidates for Lok Sabha polls on Thursday, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi contesting from Varanasi.

BJP president Amit Shah is contesting from Gandhinagar.

Rajnath Singh has been fielded from Lucknow and Nitin Gadkari from Nagpur.

Union ministers V K Singh from Ghaziabad, Mahesh Sharma from Gautambudh Nagar and Smriti Irani from Amethi.

Union ministers Kiren Rijiju from Arunachal East and Jitendra Singh from and Udhampur.

West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh will contest from Medinipur and Union minister Babul Supriyo from Asansol.

BJP has finalised names of all 17 party candidates from Bihar and the names will be announced in the state jointly with allies.
