Telangana Cabinet expands, ten new ministers joins, six new faces
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao expanded his cabinet on Tuesday after a two-month-old speculation continued. Ten new members have been included in the Cabinet.
In this new expansion in the Cabinet, six new faces, S. Niranjan Reddy, Koppula Ishwar, Irrawalei Dayakar Rao, V Srinivas Gaur, Vemula Prashant Reddy and Chaudhary Malla Reddy have been given place. At the same time, the minister has returned as a minister once again in four other A-Indrakashan Reddy, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Jai Jagdish Reddy and Etela Rajendra’s cabinet.
Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan administered oath of office and secrecy to the newly added ministers in a program held in the Raj Bhavan. In the Telangana cabinet, the total number of ministers has now gone up to 12, but no single woman has yet got the opportunity. Even in Rao’s first cabinet, a woman could not get this opportunity.
