Schedule for awareness programmes and exhibition of EVMs and VVPAT machines in Uttarakhand announced

Secretary and Chief Electoral Officer Saujanya has informed the general public that the Election Commission has instructed to use hundred per cent VVPAT machines along with EVM machines in the forthcoming general elections 2019. The following are the awareness and exhibition programmes in every village/ mohallas, hamlets regarding EVM and VVPAT machines through District Magistrates in their respective districts.

According to the proposed programmes it will start as follows;- from January 10 in Uttarkashi, from January 2 in Chamoli, from January 2 at Rudraprayag, from January 7 in Tehri Garhwal,from January 15 in Dehradun, from January 10 in Haridwar, from January 1 in Pauri Garhwal, from January 10 in Pithoragarh, from January 9 in Bageshwar, from January 10 in Almora, January in champawat, from January 1 in nainital, and from January 10 in US Nagar district.
