CBSE Class 10 board exam to return 2018

To end with, the long awaited decision on return of Class 10 board examination in 2018 has arrived. The Central Board of Secondary Education’s chief governing body on December20 approved a proposal of restoring the Class 10 board exams.

These Class 10 board examination are returning after a gap of seven years.

The governing body with its members agreed that from the academic session 2017-18 at the meeting held on Tuesday, compulsory board exams should be introduced for all students of class 10

However, the pronouncements still have to be approved by the government

Moreover, the CBSE decided to recommend to the HRD ministry that the three language formula, in which Hindi, English and modern Indian language are taught currently from classes 6 to 8, should be extended to classes 9 and 10 as well.
