State Empowered Committee grants permission to several enterprises to be set up in state
A meeting of the State Empowered Committee under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh was held on Tuesday. The committee headed by Chief Secretary set up to grant permission to various enterprises to be established under Uttarakhand Enterprises, Micro Window Accessibility and Licensing Act gave permission to various proposals. The applications to set up various units by the State nodal agency were sent to Uttarakhand Power corporation, Fire Brigade, Food & Safety, Urban development, Environment and Pollution Control Board. After the grant of permission by these various departments, the State Empowered committee gave permission to these enterprises.
The committee took decision on the following units; Ms. S.K.Frozen Foods, Chilkhiya,Ramnagar-investment Rs.17.14 crore, Ms. Nany Forging limited,Ramji vihar,devalchaur, Haldwani- investment Rs. 90.87 crore,Ms. Drink Take,LLP,IIE, SIDCUL,Pantnagar-investment Rs. 66.11 crore, Ms. Daramax Hotel and Developers Private Limited, Village Singhthgali, Byasi, Tehri-Investment Rs.145.19 crore, Ms. Parle Agro Pvt. Limited, Sitarganj-investment Rs.125.07 crore. Ms. Katyani Papers Pvt Limited, Kodiawala, Jaspur Road, kashipur-investment Rs. 22.5 crore, Ms. Fibermarks Papers Pvt Limited, Jaspur road,Kashipur –investment Rs. 25.90 crore. More than one thousand youth will get employment in these units.
It was informed in the meeting that the proposal to amend the rules to change the land use of the land allocated to Ms. Vardan Premieum Health Care Pvt Limited will be brought before the state cabinet.
Principal Secretary Manisha Panwar, Principal Secretary Home Anand Vardhan, Secretary Agriculture D. Senthil Pandian, Secretary Transport Shailesh Bagoli, Labour Commissioner Anand Srivastava were present in the meeting.
