Chief Minister thanked voters for peaceful and enthusiastic polling

Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has expressed his gratitude to the voters for peaceful conduct of polling in the election for urban civic bodies in the state on Sunday. He also praised the officers,employees and police force involved in the polling process for their contribution.

Expressing his gratitude to the voters for peaceful polling for urban body elections in the state, Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat said that it was a proof of strength and maturity of  democracy inthe country.

He said that the enthusiasm of the voters for polling was noteworthy. The Chief Minister also praised the officers, employees and police force and said that it was due to their untiring efforts  that the polling process was conducted peacefully. He said that after the counting of votes and declaration of polling results, the local governments will be formed in the state.
