Uttarakhand get Best Adventure Tourism award

On the occasion of World Tourism Day, Uttarakhand state was awarded the Best Adventure Tourism Award by Government of India at a function held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on Thursday. Union Tourism Minister K.J. Alphons presented the award to the state. Mrs. Poonam Chand, Joint Director, tourism received the award on behalf of Uttarakhand.

It is to be mentioned that in the ZEE Travel Award programme organized by ZEE News, Uttarakhand was awarded Best State For Adventure Tourism Award.
