Chairman of Adani Group Gautam Adani calls upon CM Rawat
Chairman of Adani Group Mr. Gautam Adani called upon Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat at CM residence on Wednesday. He discussed the proposals related to the investment in the infrastructure projects related to agriculture, communication and tourism apart from energy in the state.
Welcoming the proposals of Mr. Adani, the Chief Minister said that the initiative of investment in the state has been appreciated by the entrepreneurs of the country, who will play an important role in the state’s economic development and employment generation. He said that friendly environment will be provided to entrepreneurs in the state. Detailed initiatives and arrangements have also been ensured by the State Government for this. Chief Minister expected support of Mr. Adani in the direction of untimely food products, aromatic plants and horticulture.
Mr. Adani showed interest in the construction of the ropeway in Dehradun, Mussoorie, Nainital, Hemkund Sahib, Yamunotri and Kedarnath. Apart from this, a comprehensive discussion on various investment schemes related to the Smart Citi Scheme, International Convention Center to be established in Rishikesh, Tourism activities in Tehri Lake, Wellness Center, Solar Energy, Food Processing, Milk Products and Agriculture were held.
Mr. Adani said that the natural beauty of Uttarakhand is important from the point of view of tourism. It requires special focus on tourism activities. He also talked about the processing and packaging of local products, and also assured to provide their team for better processing of agricultural products.
