3-day World Hindu Congress underway in Chicago

The three- day World Hindu Congress with the theme ‘think collectively, achieve valiantly’ is underway in Chicago.

The event is being organized on the eve of 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Historic Speech at the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago in 1893.

Over 2000 delegates from across the globe are participating in this mega event.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message was read out as part of the inaugural session.

PM Modi called for using technology to connect more people with the philosophy of Hinduism.

He said, various aspects of Hindu philosophy can help find the solution to several problems that plague the world today.
