Major companies ready to set up, metro rail, batteries, aero and housing units in Andhra Pradesh

Fortescue Metals Group of Australia came forward to set up floating storage degassification unit in Andhra Pradesh. The group South Asia chief representative Gowtam Varma met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu during his Singapore tour today and discussed on their future expansion plans.

Gowtam Varma said that their company is planning to set up lithium batters unit in India with the cooperation of ISRO. He urged the Chief Minister to allot necessary land in AP.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that Andhra Pradesh is planning to increase solar power production and they have to develop grid maintenance system. He said that priority is being given for storage facilities and batteries manufacturing. He welcomed the Fortescue metals group for coming forward to set up floating storage degassification unit in AP.

The Chief Minister invited the company having expertise in Irone ore and natural gas drilling to set up steel plant in AP. Gowtam Varma said that he would discuss with his company to take forward the proposal of Chief Minister on steel plant.

Royal Holdings, a housing and health resorts giant of Singapore is ready to invest in Amaravati on housing and health resorts. The group delegate Rajkumar Heeranandani met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today. He said the company has tie up with AP for the past 17 years.

Eli Hajaj group MD Ofer Gabinet met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today and explained over the technical know how of the company. He said that their groups is having a production unit in Bangalore. He came forward to set up aero hub in AP to produce 75 per cent of air craft components and promised to start production within six months after allotment of land. He said that the company has plenty of orders on hand.

SMH Rail corporation, Malasia group came forward to set up metro rail unit in Andhra Pradesh. The group representatives met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today and expressed their interest to set up metro rail unit in AP. They informed that their group is working with GE, Siemens, Alstome and GE Hundai at present. Project director Zahrin Zaman said that their products are more export oriented. He said they are experts in converting old locomotives as new locomotives, train wheels and electric train components.

Meanwhile Dassaults systems CEO Bernard Charles and his team members met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and came forward to reduce day temperature in Amaravati. He informed the Chief Minister the day temperature in Amaravati could be reduced with the help of water conservation and increasing greenery basing on air flow. He said that their group is at present working with China, Seol and Singapore and ready to share their expertise with AP. Chief Minister said that the services of Dassal group would be used for developing smart cities. Over the invitation of Chief Minister the group came forward to visit Amaravati in September and prepare an action plan by December.

Later the Chief Minister visited Dassal Third experience Lab to know the usage of drones to get information and photographs. Charles informed the Chief Minister, how they are using services of drones for surveillance in cities.

Minister for Finance Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Minister for Municipal Administration P Narayana, CM chief secretary G Sai Prasad, AP EDB CEO J Krishna Kishore, principal secretary Ajay Jain, Commissioner of Information and Public Relations S Venkateswar accompanied the Chief Minister.
