50 % VOTES TO ENABLE GOVERNANCE FOR 50 YRS: AMIT SHAH
The BJP national president Amit Shah said workers should strive to secure more than 50 per cent votes for the party to enable the BJP to govern for 50 years. He said addressing party workers during his visit to Dehradun on Sunday.
Amit Shah said there was a clash of ideologies in the nation and the party ideology of putting nationalism. Indian culture foremost to regain the past glory of the nation. This is not an easy task to achieve but the party had chosen this purposely whereas the opposition parties were indulging in politics solely to gain power.
He said that there was a time when the national political scenario was dominated by the Congress party with the rest of the parties on the other side. However, now it was the BJP on one side and the other political parties on the other. If the BJP succeeds in securing 50 % of the votes, then none can defeat it even if all the opposition parties come together.
The BJP president said that the workers were the soul of the party and that the party will progress with the progress of its workers. He also stressed on the need for connecting people from all sections of the society with the party. Expressing his views in this meeting, the BJP national general secretary, organisation, Ramlal said that it is essential for the party workers to tour Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha constituencies as much as possible while meeting with the people and deliberating with them.
The party’s national general secretary, organisation, Ramlal, Uttarakhand chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, BJP state president Ajay Bhatt, party state in charge Shyam Jaju, national general secretary Saroj Pande, national media in charge and MP Anil Baluni and national secretary Tirath Singh Rawat among others were also present in the programme.
