Chandrababu Naidu-led panel on Demonetisation to meet on Dec 7 & 8

Vijayawada: The Centre to look into the post-note ban issues and suggest ways for a transformation into a digital economy, will formally meet in New Delhi on December 7 and 8.

The committee of Chief Ministers and experts constituted will try to work out solutions.

Negotiations on this will be held during the formal meeting on the 7th and 8th.

In the meantime, the CM asked banks to waive cash handling charges to promote digital transactions.The bankers agreed to this, an official release said.

Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu-led panel also has Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, Sikkim CM Pawan Kumar Chamling,Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Puducherry CM V Narayanasamy, NITI Aayog Vice-Chairman Arvind Panagariya,  Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, and Amitabh Kant CEO,as its members.
