Andhra to celebrate November 11 as Azad Jayanti annually

Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary Dinesh Kumar said that the state government has passed a GO of Friday to celebrate November 11 as Azad Jayanti every year on the birth occasion of India’s freedom fighter and Independent India’s first Educational minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.

The GO passed by the state government ordered that all the heads of the various departments in the Secretariat and District collectors should celebrate November 11 as Azad Jayanti. And to celebrate this occasion, the funds are to be released from the Minority welfare department’s budget.
