TS CCTNS project goes live

Hyderabad: KT Rama Rao , IT Minister and Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy today confirmed live the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems project in the State.

In the project , the system will generate SMS alerts to complainants after lodging a complaint with a police station. The SMS will serve as an acknowledgement and will have a petition ID, which can be used to track the status of the petition through the State police website, www.tspolice.gov.in.

Details of missing persons too will be available via the system on the police website.

The project, which was initiated in the State in 2012, has over 100 locations including all police stations and offices of senior police officials linked to it now.
