India to open resident mission in Rwanda
\Seeking to give its diaspora community in Rwanda a greater push, India will open its resident mission in the Rwandan capital, Kigali.
It was announced by Vice President Hamid Ansari, who is on a five-day visit to two African nations -Rwanda and Uganda.
The Vice president said that Indian government is working to further enhance bilateral ties with Rwanda and give it more content.
Vice president also announced that as part of plan to boost connectivity between Rwanda and India, Rwandan Airways would be flying soon to India, which would boost tourism between two countries.
This is the first high-level visit from India to Rwanda. Vice President will also hold bilateral talks with the leaders of the Rwanda and Uganda.
