KCR instructs the officials to complete the process of fund raising for the irrigation projects

Chief Minister  K Chandrashekhar Rao has instructed the officials to complete the process of fund raising for the projects. He instructed that along with completing the works to supply 3 TMC of water through Kaleswaram project, works of  Palamuru-Rangareddy, Sitarama Project, Sammakka Barrage construction should be completed quickly.

 

The CM held a review meeting on Tuesday at Pragathi Bhavan here on Projects in the State and procurement of funds. Chief Secretary Sri Somesh Kumar, Principal Secretary (Irrigation) Sri Rajat Kumar, Principal Secretary (Finance) Sri Ramakrishna Rao, CM Secretary Ms Smita Sabharwal, E-in-C Sri Muralidhar Rao and others participated.

 

“We are constructing the projects to supply water to 1.25 Core Acres by supplying 4 TMC of water from Godavari and 3 TMC of water from Krishna daily when there is availability of water. We are raising funds from the other Financial Institutions along with the funds allocated in the State’s Budget. Already MoUs signed with the financial institutions for the financial assistance for the projects. Complete the funds realization process by paying the Government’s share. Once the Monsoon season ends, all the projects works should speed up,” the CM said.
