Tourism over terrorism : a new path by PM

PM Modi gave a special gift to the people of Jammu and Kashmir with the opening of India’s longest road tunnel on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway on 2nd March.

While addressing the rally in Udhampur, PM urged the youth of Kashmir valley not to get influenced by bad people and asked them to choose tourism over terrorism to ensure the state’s development and well-being.

The Prime Minister further said that the tunnel will boost trade will also help boost tourism in the state.

Modi indirectly slammed Pakistan for instigating Kashmiri youths and said those across the border can’t even take care of themselves. Prime Minister said that the statesolid growth agenda will be an example even for the residents of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir.

The tunnel cuts the distance between Jammu and Kashmir by 30 kilometers. PM said that 9 more tunnels will be built in the state soon.
