Your thumb is your bank : Prime Minister

New Delhi: Pitching for digital payments PM Modi launched the BHIM and said “in two weeks, we will make one more accomplishment, it’s security is being worked on. It will empower BHIM and you will only require your thumb to pay.”

He further said,“Earlier, an illiterate person was associated with the thumb impression, but now, your thumb has become your identity and bank and this new app BHIM, will be unique in the world, as it will be an epitome of a strong economy.”

However ,PM Modi will address the nation tomorrow evening on the impact of his demonetisation drive.

PM also launched Aadhar Pay and the rebranded version of UPI (Unified Payment Interface) and USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data).
