Venkaiah Naidu inaugurates 2-day National Conf. for e-Governance
Information and Broadcasting minister Venkaiah Naidu on Monday inaugurated the 2-day National Conference for e-Governance in Visakhapatnam.
The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Internet of Things and e-Governance’ and will be covering newly evolving areas of e-Governance across five plenary sessions.
Built on the premise of “Minimum Government, Maximum Governance”, the conference is an opportunity for the public and private sectors to discuss best practices and explore new areas of partnership in areas related to e-Governance.
Three books have been released on the 1st day of the conference.
Speaking on the occasion, the Information and Broadcasting minister hit out at oppositon parties on the issue of demonetization. Naidu said those hiding black money are opposing demonetization.
Terming the conference an important one, the Information and Broadcasting minister said that with the help of Information technology, life can be made easier and simple.
