Usage of banned antibiotics for fish cultivation is a punishable offense: CS Dinesh Kumar

Andhra Pradesh CS Dinesh Kumar while speaking in a meeting with the M.P.E.D.A officials in his cabin said that usage of banned antibiotics for fish cultivation is completely banned and any person found doing so will face severe consequences. He asked the officials to conduct awareness camps for the farmers and later on took a report of the aqua exports along with the details of water bodies’ registrations, aqua products supply etc.

The officials have informed CS that they are going to conduct state level meetings for this awareness on banned antibiotic usage and other information related to aqua production in the state.
