There shouldn’t be any delay in using NABARD funds: CS Dinesh Kumar

Chief Secretary for the state of Andhra Pradesh Dinesh Kumar has ordered the officials to make an early use of the funds that are being released for the state from NABARD. CS has warned that the works being done by the funds released from NABARD shouldn’t have a delay and should be completed within the prescribed time.

CS said that till now they have utilized Rs363cr of the fund and within this month end, he has ordered the officials to make a use of Rs800cr.

He has ordered the Departments which hasn’t utilized the funds in spite of  their availability to start their works by November and any delay in that to be severely punished. He has ordered the heads of the concerned departments to monitor the monthly work progress and expenditure. CS said that he will regularly monitor the utilization of the NABARD funds in state level.

He has asked all the departments to submit their proposals of the works for next year and said them that they are ready to a give the departments additional funds if required.
