Telangana State assembly is all set to debate demonetization tomorrow

Hyderabad: In the first day of the winter session of the legislature,the TS assembly will all set debate demonetization on Friday.

It was decided at the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting chaired by Speaker Madhusudhana Chary.

TRS agreed for a full-fledged debate on the issue with its ally the Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen and the main opposition Congress insisting on a discussion.

The parties said that since the ban on high value currency notes had caused severe inconvenience to people, the issue should be included in the agenda.

BJP leader G. Kishan Reddy opposed the demand and the issue of demonetization was under the purview of the Centre.
