Telangana Assembly polls: EC reviews poll preparedness

Election Commission team led by Chief Election Commissioner Om Prakash Rawat visited Hyderabad in Telangana to review poll preparedness.

During the visit, the EC team  hold separate meetings with all political parties, district collectors, superintendent of police and other senior officials to review poll preparedness in Telangana.

The team met the Director General of the Income Tax Department and other senior officials before leaving for the national capital on October 24.

The state will go for polls on December 7 and the results will be announced on December 11.
