SSC combined higher secondary exam from Jan 7 to Feb 8

SSC will conduct Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, 2016 (Tier –I) in Computer-based mode from January 7 to February 8.

In Southern Region, the examination will be held in 46 venues (Colleges/Institutions) located at 16 centers (cities/towns) viz. Vijayawada, Kurnool, Anantapur, Rajahmundry, Tirupati, Kadapa and Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh; Hyderabad, Karimnagar and Warangal in Telangana; Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu; Puducherry in Union Territory of Puducherry.

Examination will be held in two batches for the first three days from January 7 to 9 and three batches from January 10 to February 8. Timings of Batch I: 10.00 AM to 11.15 AM, Batch II: 01.15 PM to 02.30 PM and Batch III: 04.15 PM to 05.30 PM.

Southern Regional Office has already posted e-Admit Cards authorising the candidates to appear for the said examination in its Website (www.sscsr.gov.in), with facility to download it.These details are being intimated to the candidates by SMS to the phone numbers and e-mail to the mail IDs provided by the candidates while applying for the posts.

Candidates are requested to note that No candidate shall be permitted to take up the examination without e-Admit Card. All the candidates are, therefore, requested to download their e-Admit Card without fail. In regard to Computer Based Mode of Examination, candidates are requested to familiarise with Practice Test and Walk Through available at our website.
