Several important bills to be taken up in Parliament today
Parliament will resume the Budget Session, after a three-day break. The Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha remained paralysed amid protests by the Telugu Desam Party, AIADMK and other opposition parties.
Opposition have stalled the proceedings of current session in both the Houses for last 15 days.
In the Lok Sabha, the Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Bill, 2018 is scheduled to be introduced on Tuesday.
The Trafficking of Persons (Prevention, Protection and Rehabilitation) Bill, 2018, the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (Amendment) Bill 2018, the Commercial Courts, Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division of High Courts (Amendment) Bill, 2018 and the Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Bill, 2018 are also scheduled to be introduced in the Lower House.
In the Rajya Sabha, the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill, 2017, the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Bill, 2013 and the State Banks (Repeal and Amendment) Bill, 2017 are listed for consideration and passing.
