Republic of Singapore conveyed his warmest congratulations to Honourable KCR on his successful re-election as CM

Sri S Iswaran, Minister-in-Charge of Trade Relations, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Republic of Singapore conveyed his warmest congratulations to Honourable Chief Minister Sri K Chandrashekhar Rao on his successful re-election as Chief Minister, describing the success as a testament to his outstanding accomplishments in his first term in office.

In a congratulatory letter on KCR election victory, addressing the Chief Minister as “Dear Excellency Shri Chandrashekhar Rao” the Singapore Minister said that, “under your leadership, Telangana has achieved a stellar annual revenue growth rate of 17.17%. Singapore companies have also recognised Telangana’s favourable investment climate. During your tenure, DBS (Development Bank of Singapore) built its largest technology hub outside its Singapore headquarters in Hyderabad and Ascendas-Singapore continued to expand its footprint within the state”.

The Singapore Minister Sri Iswaran further said that he is confident that under KCR’s leadership economic relations between Singapore and Telangana will strengthen further and more Singapore companies will find opportunities to participate in Telangana’s economic development.

Sri Iswaran wished the CM a continued success in his second term as Chief Minister. He said he looks forward to continuing working with CM KCR to strengthen ties between Telangana and Singapore.

The letter from Minister Iswaran has been forwarded with a covering letter from Sri Roy Kho, Consulate General of the Republic of Singapore, Chennai. Sri ROY Kho also congratulated in his covering letter the Chief Minister saying, “May I take this opportunity to congratulate your Excellency again for your resounding victory and we look forward to working more closely with you and your Government during your second term in office”.
