Reforms in industrial sector helped to bag first place in Ease of doing business:CM

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that Andhra Pradesh bagged first place in Ease of doing business with the implementation of reforms in a transparent manner. He said the innovative system being adopted in the state to increase industrialisation paved way to win the first place.

Speaking to media persons at CM camp office in Vijayawada today, the Chief Minister said that he is more happy today for getting first place in ease of doing business, inauguration of Anna canteens and visit of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to Polavaram project and stay order on Polavaram stop work order. He said that the World Bank and Department of Industrial Policy and promotion announced the ranks in ease of doing business. He said AP bagged first rank for third time this year.

The Chief Minister said that 29 states competed for the rank. He said AP achieved 86.50 per cent satisfaction from investors. He said several reforms were introduced to attract industrial sector.

The Chief Minister said the Singapore tour helped in a big way to attract investments. He said the state govt entered into 2,730 MoUs during three partnership summits to attract Rs 16,04,650 cr to provide employment opportunity to34 lakh people.

The Chief Minister said during his 3-day Singapore tour SMH rail corporation came forward to set up metro rail in AP, the Lodha group royal holdings are ready to invest in real estate and Singapore is ready to develop smart cities in AP.

Ministers P Narayana, P Pulla Rao, Commissioner of Industries Sidhartha Jain and others were present.
