Over 500 representatives of Sai baba temples from world to meet at Shirdi summit
NASHIK: At least 500 representatives of Sai baba temples from across the world will arrive in Shirdi on December 10 and 11 to participate in the Global Summit.
In the summit they will discuss the events to be held during the centenary year of Saibaba’s death anniversary.
From October 2017 to October 2018, the temple will celebrate the 100th year of Saibaba’s death, with several many pro-people developments and new initiatives to facilitate devotees.
Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust (SSST) president Dr Suresh Hawre said that about 1 crore devotees are expected to visit Shirdi during 2017-18 and expected to start many interesting projects from January 1 itself.
The Saibaba temple will provide free meals to every devotee for a year starting January 1,2017.
Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust is also planning to conceptualise a VIP darshan queue like of Tirupathi Balaji temple.
The Trust President further added that it will construct 12 darshan halls which accommodate 2,500 devotees each.
Restrooms, public library and first-aid centres with Free wi-fi will start from January 1 is also on the card of developments.
