MOUs worth Rs 3000 crore signed for setting up of industry in the presence of CM Rawat
In the presence of Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat, Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) worth Rs.3000 crore for setting up different industries in the state were signed at a ceremony held at secretariat on Thursday. From state government side Sudhir Nautiyal, Director, Industry and entrepreneurs associated with PHD Chamber of Commerce, Uttarakhand, Haridwar SIDCUL Manufacturers Association and Bhagwanpur Industries Association, signed the MOUs.
Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat said that it was the efforts of the state government to provide conducive atmosphere to the entrepreneurs for setting up industry in the state that a large number of entrepreneurs are attractive towards investment in the state. He further said that setting up of new industry and expansion of existing industry will boost the efforts to encourage industry in the state and more and more entrepreneurs will be attractive towards Uttarakhand.
Chief Minister expected from the entrepreneurs to set up industry not only in the plain areas of the state but also set up industry in the hilly areas as the state government is giving many incentives in setting up industry in the hills. He assured them that the state government will provide every possible support to them.
Industrial Advisor to the Chief Minister K.S.Panwar, Secretary Tourism Dilip Jawalkar along with Rajeev Ghai, Virender Kalra, Harendra Garg of PHD Chamber of Commerce, Uttarakhand and entrepreneurs associated with Haridwar SIDCUL Manufacturers Association and Bhagwanpur Industries Association were present on the occasion .
