MoU amounting to Rs 5000 crores inked in presence of CM Rawat

 

In the presence of Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat, MoU amounting to Rs 5000 crores were inked between the MSME Department, Industry Department and various industrialists for investment in various sectors including pharmaceuticals, health & wellness, hotel and resort construction, cosmetics & skin care, cables manufacturing, rope-way, stone crusher, banking, cane production, starch and glucose production from maize, printing, developing amusement parks and picnic spots, food processing, organic, herbal and aromatic production, ethanol production etc.

Congratulating and extending wishes to the industrialists, the Chief Minister said that the industrialists who are already working in the state and the new industrialists and investors, who are interested in investing in the state, will be given full support and assistance for the business and investment in Uttarakhand. The suggestions of industrial community have been included by the state government in its policies. All the people interested in setting up industries in Uttarakhand will be provided with all necessary facilities. For this, the officers and the administration are always ready. Expressing gratitude to all the industrialists, Chief Minister said that investment will open large number of employment opportunities for the local people.

It is worth mentioning that a MoU of Rs 2020 crores was signed for the development of Ropeway Construction, Aero Adventure Facility Park, Safari, Hot Air Ballooning, Cafeteria and Lounge by Rajas Aerosports And Adventures Private Limited with the MSME Department and Industry Department. MoU of Rs 1160 crores for the construction of MDF Board, construction of Holistic Hospital in Rudrapur and for Maize processing was signed between Department and Kumar Group of Industries, Mou for Rs. 1160 crores. With an Indian indigenous Hemp Association, a MoU of Rs 650 crore for cannabis production was signed. In the field of Distillery Production Rs 145 Crore MoU was signed with Uttam Sugar Dehradun.

An MoU of Rs. 70 crores for the construction of the resort and amusement park was signed with Manas Bandhu Buildtech Private Limited. In the field of printing, MoU of Rs 30 crores was signed with Pack Labs Dehradun. HDFC Bank has signed MoU for opening its branches in all the districts and giving loans to investors on easy terms. Rs. 160 crore MoU has been signed in the pharmaceuticals sector by Copmed Pharma Dehradun. MoU of Rs. 260 crores was signed by the Sara Group of Companies for investment in various sectors. Rs 600 crore MoU for the manufacture of Float Glass by Gold Plus Glass Industries was inked. Rs 35 crore MoU for cable manufacturing was signed by Quanta Cables. Rs 250 crore MOU for the installation of optical fiber, mobile towers, electric poles etc was signed by Quadra Infra.

On this occasion Mr. K. S. Panwar, Industrial Advisor to Chief Minister, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Ranvir Singh, Principal Secretary Shmt Manisha Panwar, Director Industries Mr. Sudhir Nautiyal and other industrialists were present.
