Modi to launch Narmada Seva Mission today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil a roadmap for steps to be taken for the conservation of the Narmada river in Madhya Pradesh today.
The event will mark the conclusion of ‘Namami Devi Narmade Sewa Yatra’ and will be held at Amarkantak near the place in Anoorppur district where the river originates.
The Narmada river conservation awareness campaign was launched in December last year. The yatra concludes on May 15 after covering a distance of 3,344 km and passing through over 1,100 villages and towns.
