KCR visits Sidhipet district to inspect housing scheme
Hyderabad: Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday visited Erravalli and Narsanapet village in Sidhhipet district to inspect development work of Double-Bedroom Housing Scheme which is being built for the poor.
Throughout the review, the Chief Minister took stock of the situation and urged the officials to accelerate the construction process.
With an aim to provide double bedroom houses for the poor, the scheme was launched in November 2015 by Telangana Chief Minister.
About 60,000 houses would be built across 119 assembly constituencies in the state at a cost of Rs 4,000 crore and it was inaugurated in the presence of Union Minister of State for Labour Bandaru Dattatreya and Telangana ministers.
