Chennai : The Apollo Hospitals said in a statement, former TN Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa died of cardiac arrest at 11:30 pm on Monday.
Former TN Chief Minister mortal remains, wrapped in tricolour, have been taken to Rajaji Hall from her residence in Poes Garden where people can pay their last respects to the iconic leader.
Amma’s cremation would be done on December 6 evening on the historic Marina beach, with full state honours.
