Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Jordanian King Abdullah II spoke in one voice about moderation and pluralism at an event on the theme “Islamic Heritage: Promoting Understanding and Moderation” at the Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi.
The Prime Minister said the fight against terrorism is against a particular mindset that radicalizes youth and forces them to inflict violence on innocents. Addressing the gathering on the theme ‘Islamic Heritage: Promoting Understanding and Moderation,’ the Prime Minister said that no religion teaches people to be intolerant and those who carry out barbaric attacks against innocent people can never belong to any region.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Jordanian King Abdullah II released the Urdu translation of a book titled ‘A Thinking Persons Guide to Islam’ at Delhi’s Vigyan Bhawan.
The book, written by a cousin of King Abdullah, Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad is an important medium to understand the truth about Islam.
The book will be of immense help to those radicalized youth, who no longer understand the religion correctly.
