Hyderabad GHMC Poll Results 2020

For 150 divisions under GHMC .. Results of 149 divisions have been released. TRS won 55, BJP 48, MIM 44 seats. Congress is limited to two seats. The Returning Officer stopped the Naredmet result.

Votes with a seal other than the swastika seal were stopped because there was more than a majority. The result is likely to be announced only after the High Court verdict. The BJP had an outstanding performance in this election.

The BJP, which won 4 seats in 2016, now has 48 seats. We are dedicating this victory to the Telangana State Election Commission and Telangana DGPs, said BJP state president Bandi Sanjay. Bandi Sanjay thanked key leaders including Amit Shah and Yogi who came to campaign in the GHMC elections.

They said they would carry out a surgical strike and that they had carried out a saffron strike in the election. Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted that the BJP was putting its faith in politics and thanking the people of Telangana. Jaypee Nadda and Bandi praised Sanjay for his excellent work.

Minister KTR said the election did not yield the results they had hoped for. He told party sources that he had lost 10-12 seats by a narrow margin and should not be disappointed with the results. Speaking to media at Telangana Bhavan on the GHMC election results, Minister KTR said, “I thank the people for making TRS the largest party.” Minister KTR said the mayor still has two months to sit on the pedestal.
