Home department conduct games for Secretariat employees

Andhra Pradesh Home Department’s Principal Secretary Anuradha said that Secretariat employees who are always busy with the work load had a physical boost with the games that are held in Secretariat premises on Wednesday. Women employees have participated in the rangoli competition and the male employees have participated in the Kabaddi competition. PS Anuradha said that after the state bifurcation, every year they are conducting such competitions to raise the moral confidence in the employees.

PS Anuradha said that the secretariat employees are trying hard to make the new formed state into a developed state. Secretariat employee’s association president U. Murali Krishna while speaking to the media said that such competitions will help in uniting all the department employees in Secretariat. He said that the State government has allotted Rs.1cr to each district to conduct such competition. He said that almost 300 female employees have participated in the rangoli competition and around 15 teams of male employees have participated in the Kabaddi competition. Along with the winners of this competition, the participants in this competition are also given the participation certificates. For the female employees in the Secretariat, they are going to conduct Kabaddi and Kolatam competitions on Thursday.
