Five Hyderabad tourists die in mishap in Andhra Pradesh

VISAKHAPATNAM: At least 5 persons died and four suffered injured when an SUV in which they were travelling hit the road divider after losing control on NH-16 at Gokulapadu area of S Rayavaram mandal in Visakhapatnam district late on last night.

Around 12 persons, from  Hyderabad, were travelling to Annavaram from Vizag when the incident took place. After darshan at Annavaram temple, they were scheduled to return to Hyderabad.

The police said that accident occurred when the right tyre of the vehicle burst and the driver lost control and hit the divider and jumped onto the adjacent lane of the road on the other side of the divider.
