Dinesh Chand Deshwal takes charge as Commissioner of Railway Safety, Northern Circle, New Delhi
New Delhi, 21 November: Dinesh Chand Deshwal took charge as Commissioner of Railway Safety, Northern Circle, New Delhi on Tuesday. He will look after the railway safety of the Northern Railway falling under the Northern Circle.
He belongs to the 1990 batch of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE). Dinesh Chand Deshwal started his career in Western Railway and has held various important positions in Open Line, Construction and Projects in various Zonal Railways.
Deshwal has also held important assignments as Managing Director of HRIDC (Joint Venture Company of MoR and Government of Haryana) on deputation. Before his appointment as Commissioner of Railway Safety, he was serving as Chief Bridge Engineer in North Western Railways. With over 31 years of experience in construction and O&M of Railway Infrastructure, he has worked in important divisions like Vadodara, Ratlam, Ajmer and Bikaner.
