DG Information reviewed the arrangements made for successful media coverage of ‘Investors Summit’

The Director General of Information Mr. Deependra Chaudhary reviewed the works being done by the Information department and arrangements being made for the successful conduct of the ‘Uttarakhand Investors Summit’ on October 7 and 8 with departmental officers at Maharana Pratap Sports College on Friday.

Director General of Information Mr. Deependra Chaudhary told the departmental officers that for successful conduct of the programme they should perform their duties responsibly. He said that all the officers have been briefed about their responsibilities and the instructions given to them should be acted upon with responsibility and alertness. He said that media persons should not face any difficulty in the coverage of the event and special attention should be paid on this aspect.

He said that for local media persons and those coming from outside to cover the event, there should be complete coordination in taking them to the event site and facilitating news gathering.

He said that besides the main event, the press, photo and video coverage of other sessions of the programme should be ensured. He said that officers deployed for these duties should coordinate with each other.

Additional Director Dr. Anil Chandola, Joint Directors Rajesh Kumar and Asish Tripathi, Assistant Director K.S.Chauhan, Special Officer B.P. Ghildyal and other departmental officers were present in the meeting.
