Development works in Badrinath, Karnprayag and Kedarnath assembly constituencies reviewed
Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat reviewed the development works in assembly constituencies of Chamoli and Rudraprayag districts through video conferencing at Secretariaton Friday. Mainly the implementation of the Chief Ministers’ announcements was reviewed.
In the meeting, Cabinet Minister Mr. Madan Kaushik, Mr. Prakash Pant, MLA Mr. Mahendra Bhatt, Mr. Surendra Singh Negi, Mr. Manoj Rawat, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Om Prakash, Mrs. Radha Raturi, senior officials of the government, District Magistrate at district headquarters and district level officers were present.
After the meeting, giving information to the media, cabinet minister said that on Friday, review of the assembly constituencies of Badrinath, Karnprayag and Kedarnath was done. Due to technical fault in the NIC, review of Rudraprayag and Tharali assembly constituencies could not be done. Separate date will be announced for the review of these assembly constituencies. He said that 24 announcements of Badrinath assembly constituency were reviewed. Out of which 2 have been completed and work on 19 is in progress and instructions were issued to take immediate action on the remaining. In the Karnprayag assembly constituency, out of the total announcements made, work on 20 is in progress and instructions have been issued to soon start work on the remaining. In Kedarnath assembly constituency, work on 7 announcements is under progress. Earlier, in the meeting Chief Minister instructed the officers to complete the necessary formalities as soon as possible to complete the various development projects. He said that the implementation of the Chief Minister’s announcement should be expedited.
During the review of Kedarnath Assembly Constituency, the Chief Minister said that Tapt Kund in Gaurikund should be made in its old form. Irrigation department would build it. To make sure that the nature of hot water flow remains the same, opinion of a consultant agency should be taken. During the 2013 disaster, this Tapt Kund had been swept away. Survey has been done to solve the problems of drinking water in Ukhimath and Guptkashi and DPR is being prepared. Chief Minister instructed to keep these drinking water plans on priority. Construction work of Anganwadi Building in Ladoli will be started soon.
Under the Badrinath Assembly Constituency, modern toilets would be constructed in Badrinath and Govind Ghat. For which instructions have been issued for selection of land within a week. Signage will be installed in Badrinath and Govind Ghat. Land has been selected for construction of helipad in Joshimath. After getting clearance from DGCA, the work will be completed soon. The land for the hostel in Rajiv Gandhi Secondary Navodaya Vidyalaya in Badrinath will soon be selected. For setting up petrol pump and gas agency in Badrinath, instructions have been issued to send the estimates soon. Soon, a DPR is being prepared for the auditorium in Gopeshwar. A master plan is being prepared for the planned development of Badrinath.
In Karnprayag Assembly Constituency, for the planned development, the work of master plan for Gairsain is under progress. To solve the problem of drinking water in Gairsain, a lake has to be built. Chief Minister has directed for the preparation of its DPR by the end of October. Helipad will be expanded in Bharadisain. Before its expansion, instructions have also been given for its technical examination. In Gairsain, DPR for the auditorium is being prepared. The name of the Government Inter College, Karnprayag has been named after the Victoria Cross Darwan Singh. Hargarh is being developed as an excellence center, in which various types of medicinal species will be planted. Kanoth-Khet-Koli drinking water line has also been approved.
Apart from this, in the above-mentioned assembly segments, the implementation various road, drinking water, parking, classroom construction in schools and other development schemes were reviewed in detail.
