Congress aide kickstarted Pakistan’s National Day celebrations: PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has slammed the opposition, especially Sam Pitroda, a close confidante of the Gandhi family for demeaning India’s Forces.
Talking to a news service, Sam Pitroda questioned the death toll in the Balakot airstrike quoting international media.
In a tweet Prime Minister said: “The most trusted advisor and guide of the Congress President has kick-started the Pakistan National Day celebrations on behalf of the Congress, ironically by demeaning India’s armed forces. Loyal courtier of Congress’ royal dynasty admits what the nation already knew- Congress was unwilling to respond to forces of terror. This is a New India- we will answer terrorists in a language they understand and with interest! ”
Prime Minister also lashed out at Ram Gopal Yadav for questioning the government’s response to the Pulwama attack. PM said: “Opposition is the natural habitat of terror apologists and questioners of our armed forces. This reprehensible statement by a senior leader like Ram Gopal Ji insults all those who have given their lives in protecting Kashmir. It humiliates the families of our martyrs.
Opposition insults our forces time and again. I appeal to my fellow Indians- question Opposition leaders on their statements. Tell them- 130 crore Indians will not forgive or forget the Opposition for their antics. India stands firmly with our forces.”
Union Minister and senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley also lashed out at Sam Pitroda’s comment. He said that all but one country, that is Pakistan, is standing with India after the success of Balakot attack but Sam Pitroda has chosen to join agency with Pakistan in questioning the actions of our forces as well as the government in securing the nation.
He went on to say that Congress is suffering from self-deception. He said that there is sufficient proof to show that there is no distinction between state and non-state actors in Pakistan.
Union Minister and senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has said that Congress is unnecessarily raking up the Pulwama issue because its weak policies on internal security stand exposed. He lamented those questioning the bravery and integrity of our soldiers for petty politics.
Reacting to a question on Sam Pitroda’s controversial statement, Union Minister and senior BJP leader General VK Singh said that Pitroda has always been far removed from reality and should not be taken too seriously.
