CM releases annual credit plan for Rs 1,94,220 cr

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu released annual credit plan of 2018-19 today for Rs 1,94,220 cr. The credit plan include Rs 1,44,220 cr for Priority sector, Rs 50,000 for non priority sector, Rs 10,457 cr for Heavy industries, Rs 3,745 cr for MSME, Rs 14,028 cr for Micro enterprises, Rs 11,500 cr for small enterprises, Rs 2,733 cr for medium enterprises and Rs 28,261 cr for MSME loans.

The agricultural credit plan stands at Rs 1,01,564 cr including short term loans at Rs 75,000 cr, assistance to tenant farmers Rs 75,000 cr, agriculture and allied sector loans Rs 21,323 cr, agricultural infrastructure Rs 241 cr and Allied sector programmes Rs 5000 cr.

Addressing the bankers on this occasion, the Chief Minister said bankers should come forward to help the beneficiaries in a big way. He said people are facing problems with banking sector after demonitisation. He said people are not coming forward to deposit cash in banks with prevailing confusion. He said the state govt has been facing problem to distribute money under NREGS due to shortage of cash in banks.

The Chief Minister said bankers should come forward to develop all the regions. He said technology should be used for better results.

The Chief Minister asked the bankers to prepare plans for inclusiveness every month. He said banks should be performing in nature. He said that the state govt has been providing information of all sectors online and achieved good growth rate in agriculture sector.

The bankers informed that they are facing problem for making available cash in rural areas. Stating that the state govt successfully resolved crisis in mango market in Chittoor district by intervening the market with an action plan and giving subsidy to mango farmers, the chief minister asked the bankers to resolve crisis with proper planning.
