CM Rawat reviewes the Dehradun Smart City at the Secretariat
Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat reviewed the Dehradun Smart City at the Secretariat on Tuesday. During the meeting, C.E.O. Samart City Mr. Ashish Shrivastava gave a detailed presentation on Dehradun Smart City.
Chief Minister Rawat instructed to complete all the works being done under Smart City within the stipulated time. The Chief Minister directed that special care should be taken of quality along with timeliness. He expressed displeasure over the slow pace of Modern Doon Library and said that it should be completed soon. He said that it is necessary to ensure that the general public is not disturbed by the construction works. He said that for this, a meeting should also be organized with contractors etc. from time to time, so that problems faced by them can also be resolved. The Chief Minister said that rainwater harvesting should be more focused on conserving rainwater in Dehradun.
C.E.O. Samart City Mr. Ashish Shrivastava informed that the total cost of the Smart City project is Rs 1407 crore, in which 100 percent tenders have been invited and related programs have also been issued. He informed that all the work of Smart School has been completed under Dehradun Smart City. Under this, the Government Girls Inter College Rajpur Road, Government Inter College, Khudbuda and Government Girls Junior High School have been included, which have provision of smart classes, computer labs, CCTV cameras, fire fighting equipment etc. He informed that work of smart road is in progress. The work of Doon Integrated Command and Control Room will be completed by March 2021.
