Chandra Babu launches road-map for 6-lane expressway
Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu today unveiled a roadmap for building a six- lane expressway of 598.83 kms which connects the capital Amaravati with Anantapuramu district. It had cost of Rs 27,600 crore.
The Chief Minister said, the project will cost a staggering Rs 27,600 crore.Union Minister for Highways Nitin Gadkari promised to fund the expressway, however government is yet to prepare a detailed project report.
The projected expressway would traverse through Guntur, Kurnool, Prakasam, Kadapa and Anantapuramu districts with interlinking roads to Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
A detached road each to Kadapa and Kurnool would cut the expressway.
