Centre asks states to ensure security of people belonging to J&K

The Centre has asked all states to ensure security of people belonging to Jammu and Kashmir. This was conveyed by the Home Ministry in an advisory to all states.

The advisory said the state governments and Union Territory administrations and the nodal officers appointed by them are advised to take all necessary steps to prevent any act of assault, threat, intimidation, social boycott etc against Kashmiris, including students, as well as minorities.
