Biopic on PM Modi to release on May 24

PM Narendra Modi, the biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi will now release on May 24th, a day after the results of the ongoing general polls are declared.

The Vivek Oberoi-starrer film was initially scheduled to release on April 11, but was banned by the Election Commission of India as it violated the Model Code of Conduct.

A statement released by the filmmaker Sandip Singh read, “As a responsible citizen we respect the law of the country.

After a lot of discussions and keeping the curiosity and excitement about the film in mind we have decided to release the film immediately after the Lok Sabha election results.”
