Assam Govt. announces PC as new brand ambassador for state tourism

Guwahati :Assam govt. December 20, pronounced Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra would be the brand ambassador of the state’s tourism for two years, once being turned down by cricket maestro Sachin Tendulkar.

Assam Tourism Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the government had already signed a two-year agreement with Chopra “free of cost”.

Priyanka Chopra, for her first arrival for the state,  will be coming to Guwahati on December 24 to take part at the International Tour Operators Conclave.
