AP is the role model for online building permissions in India: Narayana

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Urban development and Urban Housing Narayana said that by granting permissions to 30K buildings through online mode, AP is now a role model for entire nation. Narayana attended a press meet in block 4 of Secretariat and said that only in one year they have given permissions to 30k buildings through mode and by downloading the CAT software anyone can easily get the permissions for their building construction.

He asked the owners of the building should upload their plan in this software and if there are any mistakes in the plan, it will be displayed. After the mistakes are shown, a fee can be paid in banks and within two minutes permission will be given for that construction. He said that even in advanced nations like Singapore, it will take 30 days to get the permission but we are giving it in 2 minutes. He also said that this will help in reducing the corruption in government building sector.

He said that after launching this program, they have contacted 17K people among which 84% of the people gave a positive feedback, 11% showed a satisfactory note and only 5% were not happy with this initiative.
